This is incredible...I need to practice with my liquid chalk markers a whole lot more!...is it really all done using the markers?

This probably took me two days. This is from my old store, North Wales, PA, and I was hired just as a chalkboard artist. For a while I had a lot of time on my hands!

It's not all chalk markers. It is started with a sort of white "underpainting" under the brightest areas, like the pineapple pieces and the shines, then I did the rest with regular chalk pastel.

When you say regular chalk pastel, is this NuPastel? or truly "regular" chalk pastel. Also, out of curiosity, did the employer purchase the pastels, or did you use your own?

It was probably a cheap cheapie "craft store" chalk pastel. And yes, the employer buys all my supplies :) Even super cheapie ones. lol. They love those.
